Set in the unbelievably morose but gorgeously shot industrial uglyscapes & rural wastelands of bleak 1984 provincial Russia during the decline of the soviet era, Cargo 200 (code for dead soldiers brought back from that war in Afghanistan) follows the turbulent trajectories of a handful of disparate characters flung together by unfortunate happenstance! None are innocent to corruption & hypocrisy, least of all any authority figures!
